Hij stelt in deze TED talk dat er iets bestaat als te veel keuze, wat meer nadeel heeft dan voordeel. Als er te veel keuzeopties zijn is de kans op keuzestress of spijt enorm. In plaats van vrijheid te bieden is de kans veel groter dat je angst hebt om de verkeerde beslissing te nemen en de keuze soms helemaal niet neemt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><em>LOSS AVERSION (verliesaversie) &#8211; AMOS TVERSKY, DANIEL KAHNEMAN<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Term die toebehoort aan de \u2018Prospect Theory\u2019, ontwikkeld door Amos Tversky en Daniel Kahneman in 1979. Simpel verwoord is verliesaversie de \u201cnatuurlijke afkeer van verlies\u201d (<em>Wikipedia<\/em>). De reden waarom heel wat mensen bang zijn voor gokken. We zijn namelijk banger om iets te verliezen, dan voldoening om datzelfde te winnen. 50 euro winnen brengt minder emotie teweeg dan 50 euro verliezen. Dit speelt ook een grote rol in dilemma\u2019s! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Zo is er in 2022 een man uit Zottegem overleden doordat hij zijn gsm in de riool liet vallen en er achterna ging. Toen de man zijn gsm liet vallen zal hij in dubio geweest zijn over: \u201cZou ik de gsm laten liggen en niet in de riool moeten, of zou ik mijn gsm gaan zoeken?\u201d. Omdat hij (als mens) meer verdriet zou hebben gevoeld bij zijn gsm te verliezen dan hem (terug) te verdienen, had hij beslist de gsm uit de riool te gaan vissen. <em>(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vrt.be\/vrtnws\/nl\/2022\/09\/06\/man-raakt-bevangen-door-dampen-riool-in-zottegem-en-verdrinkt\/\">https:\/\/www.vrt.be\/vrtnws\/nl\/2022\/09\/06\/man-raakt-bevangen-door-dampen-riool-in-zottegem-en-verdrinkt\/<\/a>)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-verse has-medium-font-size\">Deze theorie wordt vaak toegepast in marketing. Zo promoten ze liever een product door het woord \u2018<em>Bespaar<\/em>\u2019 te gebruiken dan het woord \u2018<em>Win<\/em>\u2019.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><em>COGNITIEVE DISSONANTIE &#8211; LEON FESTINGER<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cognitieve dissonantie is de interne spanning die ontstaat wanneer je gedrag niet overeenstemt met je attitude, overtuiging, mening of kennis. Als mensen zijn we redelijk consistent in onze overtuigingen, waarden en normen. Dat beeld hebben we ook van onszelf, en willen we behouden! Wanneer we in dilemma komen is het deze emotie die opgewekt wordt vanbinnen, je komt namelijk tussen twee verschillende overtuigingen te staan, maar omdat je vaak even trouw bent aan beide voel je je zo vervelend wanneer je een dilemma krijgt voorgeschoteld.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Op welke manier be\u00efnvloedt de werking van ons brein hoe we dingen beslissen?
